This was a fun little read. The story was felt a little scattered at times and some details could’ve been presented differently but overall it was good. I also wish we got to see more of the character growth rather than being told about it. It was paced well and I think I’m intrigued enough to pick up the next books eventually to get the rest of the story. 

Personal pet peeve, epilogues in a book that is not a stand alone or last in a series and “the end” at the end of a book with a cliff hanger.
