Isla and the Happily Ever After
by Stephanie Perkins
I was so excited for this one, but nothing can compare to Anna and the French Kiss. I didn't love Isla as much as I loved Anna, and the book got very melodramatic at times. However, if you want something fun and light to read, I would recommend that you read the whole series. I did finish this in 3 days, which is quite fast for me.
One last thing: I just recently got my wisdom teeth out, and I can tell you that messes with your system. Right after I got back from the maxillofacial surgeon I laid down in my basement covered in ice packs, and I watched the first 5 episodes of The Last Dance. So based on my own experience, I have no earthly idea how no one noticed that Isla had gotten her wisdom teeth taken out when she was in the cafe. Also, why was Isla loopy for that long? And why was she in a diner unaccompanied after her surgery? And why did she eat soup, which is a hot food, when you are cautioned not to? I mean, compared to everything else that occurred it seems like such a small thing to point out [Like the trip to Barcelona?] but my wisdom teeth experience is still deeply ingrained in my memory. That's all I have to say about that.
