Oh my gosh, what a beautiful story! I never got around to finishing this last year. I’ve always struggled with slow paced cozy reads but I REALLY wanted to get a festive book finished this year. I’m so glad I did! 😍
Stranded in a snowy, remote village inn? PERFECT Christmas setting. It gave me all the festive feels I was after. The hot chocolate, the tree, the snow angels, the Carol singing and boxing bay breakfast - it was all just so warm and cozy. ❄️
This book focuses on characters, as many festive reads do. Millie Johnson did a BRILLIANT job at making me fall in love with their personalities. Charlie, Robin, Mary and Bridge were stand outs for me but as a group, just such a great bond. 💕
As expected, pretty romance heavy. All 3 couples have history, but I like that it didn’t feel like the centre of the story. TW: cancer, this book did get me welling up, there are a few super sad chapters, but beautifully written. ✨
Some how this book made me just feel christmassy inside my chest. A bit soppy and cheesey but if you need a bit of a pick me up, I think this will do it. It really highlights the true meaning of Christmas, friendship and appreciating life ☃️
