The main story gets 3 stars. I still have big issues with the translation that honestly made it difficult to read. I had never heard of this series before I picked up the books, so maybe an already established fan would enjoy the books more than I did. The plot was interesting and I liked the main characters, I really just wish the translation had been better.

As for the extra stories that made up about 60% of the last book, I think I finished maybe 3 of them. The others I quickly skimmed or skipped, at this point I just wanted to be done. I don't consider it a DNF though since I finished the main story, the extras were indeed just extras.
Some of the extra stories were very rapey, and they went a bit too far for my taste.

All in all, I'm glad I finished the series and the art throughout the books really is beautiful, the artist did an amazing job and I couldn't stop looking at all the pieces!
