I listened to the audiobook based on the recommendation of a fellow reader.

Aristotle is a teenager, mad at the world. He doesn't fit in and stays to himself; that is until Dante inserts himself in to Ari's life. That  summer will have a cause and effect that forever changes the course of both boys lives.

I found this story to be an uplifting story about two boys that mature and learn from eachother. Aristotle, the narrator and main protagonist, has struggled with how he shows emotions. His father a veteran with little to say and his mother who refuses to speak of his incarcerated older brother, Bernardo, are his only examples on how to cope emotionally. When Dante and his family invite Ari into their world, Ari is able to see what open communication within a household is like.

This book is truly heartwarming. And if you are looking for a feel good story, Aristotle and Dante is right for you.
