4.5 stars - I loved it! Would re-read.
Great addition to the Crown of Shards world! I loved this kick off to a new series set in the same world as KILL THE QUEEN, but a few years after the events of that series. Great new characters and new plots to foil, but the same great world building and storytelling. Book two can't get here soon enough for my tastes! Lots of questions posed but left unanswered with this one. Don't miss it! (Language, violence)
