Hmmm. This is a difficult one. I have to be honest, when I started I was a little disappointed at how slow yet all over the place felt. Thankfully, I got into it quickly and enjoyed the middle part. Near the ending, I had a feeling the story would go a certain way that I wouldn't like, and I almost stopped reading. I have to admit, I looked the ending up online and was relieved to find that it didn't end how I suspected. I was definitely happy with the ending, even though I wanted a little bit more.
Overall, I like the author's stories, but I don't always match with the writing. It switches between fast and slow a lot, and sometimes the storylines feel like three books in one. But I still liked the stories and I will read the author's other books. (Though as audiobooks so it gets a little easier to go through the slow parts)
