The Ill-Made Mute by Cecilia Dart-Thornton

3.0

Imaginative world-building, but over-written. And believe me, I love an extensive vocabulary and poetic descriptions, but there are ways and ways. Nevertheless, once little mystery protagonist finally got out of the darkish tower, things got more interesting. I’ve got the entire trilogy, so although I don’t find it compelling reading, I expect to finish it...eventually.
