Yolk by Mary H.K. Choi
4.0
Throughout this book I was between a 3.5 and a 5, so I'll give it a 4.25.
It was so authentic and vulnerable. There were so many connections between the different stories and there were many different plots all centering around two sisters. I can't believe Mary H.K. Choi wrote this (not in a bad way, in an "it was an amazing feat that she created this very honest, detailed and complicated story" way). I have to applaud her for that. Also, I liked that there were real Korean experiences and people!
Before Reading:
I've disliked both Permanent Record and Emergency Contact, so hopefully I'll like this one!
