Room On Our Rock by Terri Rose Baynton, Jol Temple, Kate Temple

A beautiful story, that uses the form of poetry that can be read backwards as well as forwards, completely changing its meaning. I have looked at a number of these poems with my Stage 3 students, the best being Pretty Ugly by Abdullah Shoaib. This uses the same concept to share an important message, but I did feel the text was a little clunky at times. It will hopefully still be a revelation to those who haven't experienced this style of text before. The artwork is also gorgeous.
