Furyborn
by Claire Legrand
okay this was very fun, if not a little hard to get through (it’s very long)
this book was action packed from start to finish. i loved how complex both fmc’s were, and i’m excited to see how their stories progress. even all of the side characters felt very fleshed out and real, and i wanted to know everything about them.
the plot itself was unique and i’ve not read anything like it before. i found the world building and magic system tough to follow sometimes, but that’s probably just my contemp-romance brain talking.
i’m surprised at how polarising this book apparently is (after looking through some reviews). i enjoyed myself and look forward to reading book two!
