A stunning literary mystery. Cassie from In the Woods takes center stage here, dragged from Domestic Violence to Undercover one last time. A young woman the spitting image of Cassie is murdered, but her old partner Frank wants her to assume the young woman's life (as if she were just in a coma and injured rather than dead) to catch the killer. The writing here is breathtaking. I was completely transported.
