A fun and interesting book that detailed Bill Buford's journey from being a journalist researching a story by working in the Babbo kitchen, to his plunge into the work of professional food when he quits his job, moves to Italy, and apprentices himself to a famous Tuscan butcher. The details of this book are wonderful, and Buford has a nice writing style that lets us explore this crazy world (that he genuinely loves) with him, without acting too naive or star struck along the way.
