Ruckus

You know what, this may just be my favourite book in the Sinners of Saint series so far. I think for me it was more so about the development of the characters and me feeling more connected to them. Though, in this book I loved when Vicious was there and he’d throw crude or snarky comments. Vicious is just my favourite, always.
Honestly, going into this book, I expected it to be a like Rosie sick and in hospital like she was in the end and Dean being there for her and then falling in love together there. So it’s definitely a stretch from how I pictured it but it was still amazing m.
I felt more drawn to the issues that were being tackled in this book. I really love Dean’s story and I was fooled too because in the first book, I just thought he was a senseless clown. Both characters have such tragic pasts and the way their relationship was when they were teenagers makes me so sad.
For about the last 100 pages, the drama and intensity really picked up. So many things were happening and my heart was breaking for Dean & Rosie. Things got really emotional, raw and I loved it! Those last 100 pages turned this 4.0 star read to a 4.5 - 5.0 star read.
I just have to mention how adorable Dean was being a space geek. I loved learning all there new things about astronomy and Sirius. It just made me smile every time he gave a new fact about astronomy.
