Well, Anne Rice said in the forward that her aim was to write a book with smut on every page. She did certainly achieve that aim. There really is almost no plot, so if you don’t enjoy the smut then you’re shit out of luck. The embodiment of “dead dove: don’t eat”. 

Idk, it was fine. Very repetitive. Mostly, I just think it’s funny that this is the first Anne Rice novel I’ve read. I’ve gotta get my hands on a copy of Interview With A Vampire next.
