This was a masterpiece. R.F. Kuang perfectly captured the delusions of the "liberal" white public while highlighting the problems within East Asian communities and mixed it all up with the racism/sexism that plagues the publishing industry and social media spaces.

Was lowkey waiting for a Booktok mention but she does mention every single piece of popular Booktok discourse that exists.

10/10 would recommend it to anyone who reads.
