People We Meet on Vacation by Emily Henry

4.0

yes yes yes. yes yes oh and YES!

THIS IS EVERYTHING. THIS BOOK LOOKED INTO MY HEAD, UNDERSTOOD EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED AND FRICKEN DELIVERED.

I've never been a reader who can rate a book high, or immensely enjoy a book if it doesn't create a deeper connection with me by the end. if I read a contemporary, I'm probably not just reading it to get exactly what the synopsis said. i want to relate to the characters, I want to learn about them, pity them, all that good stuff. and this contemporary romance o m g. this one was so good. put aside all the adorable tropes, and friends to lovers storyline, both the main characters were written so well, I loved how much we were able to learn about them and their past, but there is still so much we don't know.

also I miss travelling a lot and although this made me VERY jealous that component was a plus. review coming to the blog this summer!
