had this book on my shelf for ages and it sadly took me ages to get around to it - thanks so much to NetGalley and the publisher for the E-ARC! At the moment I’ve been a bit sad as I normally love short stories and have recently read a few collections that just weren’t doing it for me. Even when I do read great collections, though, I often have a similar experience to music albums; I often find that even in the best collections, there are always one or two stories that didn’t gel with me and become a ‘skip’ during re-reads.
As always, however, Eliza Clark came to the rescue. These stories are just the right amount of creepy and gross and are also completely riveting. I’d definitely read a full novel’s worth of all of these short stories. Not a single skip.
If you’re a fan of creepy stories this one is definitely for you!
