Look, this book has no right being this good. It's only my second Berverly Jenkins and the woman just knows how to write romance that hits me right in the feels. We get a strong independent woman with a traumatic past. She's done trying to live to other people's and society's expectations. Spring is everything and Garrett is so soft for her, treating her with the respect and the care she deserves. I love to see a man respecting a woman's boundaries and independance. This is fantastic, y'all should read it.
