I would give this 4.5 stars. I don’t know why this book received a lot of hate. Yes the world building is so simple but I really enjoyed the book (I didn’t read the other 2 books in the series yet). Some people said that it was boring in the beginning and got interesting by the end, girl I found it eventful since the first chapter! It had my attention till the end, even though I guessed half of the plot twist that happened by the end. I was in shock for the other half!!! Like whaat? How I didn’t see that coming??
I can’t wait to read Nightbane now!! I can’t wait to know how things got to be the way they are in Lightlark!!
