I love the lively debates - Team Finn or Team Niall. Trust me, I wouldn't turn either of them away as once again these book boyfriends have me with the case of the big old swoons.

The appeal of Niall is that bad boy, not made for relationships crashing on the first sight of the heroine. That connect - soulmate it screams - he can fight it but fate will win.

Anna is a victim of a traumatic experience in book one (Yes, I insist you read these as intended). She is healing but has a soft spine-she embraces her femininity but has steel when called upon.

Once again this storyteller has made 'darker' 'mafia romance' accessible. With stellar storytelling, plot that moves, and characters who win your heart, this duet is one for the bookshelves, and on my re-read list.

Audiobook review:

What can I say about the dynamic duo of John Lane and Maxine Mitchell. They deliver the best performances. Make the reader feel part of the scene and can hear the richness of the characters Irish background.
