I really enjoyed Hidden Nature, especially January LaVoy’s narration! Nora Roberts’ annual romantic suspense novels can be hit or miss for me as they’re fairly formulaic. I probably liked this book more than some as it gave me some “In Death” vibes, probably because we get the killers’ POV throughout the story. I liked Sloan’s character/personality and enjoyed her family interactions. Her interactions as a Natural Resources police officer was super cool. I didn’t feel that we got to know Nash’s character as much but it’s Sloan’s story after all!
