I DNF'd this pretty quickly, mostly just due to the confusing POV. The story is told in first person POV, but it stays in that voice even when it flips to the other character's POV (so it's not a true third person when it flips), which I just found unnecessarily confusing. There might be a reason for it that is revealed later in the story, but I found it too annoying to bother continuing to find out.
