As a queer medievalist I was bound to enjoy the book from the very beginning. From the characters to the narration, the dialogues and the, quite frankly, gorgeous descriptions, I really must say I cannot find a flaw that would make it like less. It's a not historically accurate and thank gods it isn't; we don't really have a need for more historically precise, gritty, dark and bloody books. But what we needed is something like this: romantic, hopeful, touching, like Galahad's own story, like something that would have written at the time as a celebration of better times. Perhaps I'm making little sense but whatever, I absolutely loved this book and I'm gonna reccomend it to anybody with ears thay comes near me.
