As strange as it is thrilling, this book is like reading a biography of a family you’ve heard rumours about. The plot has a consistently good pace and is fascinating, even though it is, at times, difficult to read. I cannot say any of the characters are likeable, but I think that just shows how alive they feel, despite their curious description.
