Killing Kate by Alex Lake

3.0

2.5 stars

I loved After Anna by this author, but Killing Kate fell short for me. The characters are all flat, but I was kind of intrigued by the plot so I pushed on. I probably should have DNF’d, but I was listening on audiobook and I was too lazy to search for a new one to listen to at the time. Overall, this was an okay novel. Other than the flat characters, the writing was too simplistic and the plot dragged on and on...and ON. It wasn’t terrible, but I definitely wanted it to have a faster pace and have more character depth.
