This was elegant and beautifully told. While there were some problematic elements (“river gypsies” and no real conversations about the very real racism experienced by one character), the overall story was very moving. The characters demonstrated strength and humanness. I loved the character growth and truthfulness throughout the story. A real look at what it means to tell a story.
