This felt…. familiar. The plot seemed original enough… but the details felt inspired by one of our fav fantasy romance series. Which I didn’t hate. I think this is Mads first book so I feel like I can give the props it deserves for having a really interesting plot. But I didn’t feel connected to the characters or really felt their connection to each other.
