An Absolutely Remarkable Thing
by Hank Green
4.5 stars. Couldn’t put it down. It’s a strikingly relevant piece of speculative fiction. The Carl’s can line up with any number of social issues that we use to stir up drama. April May is a very fun narrator that (even tho she makes some truly terrible decisions) I never got tired of listening to.
I thought the ending was a little abrupt, but it feels like there’s going to be a lot more payoff in book 2 and I’m here for that.
