If a book can grip me so much that I ignore adult responsibilities for a solid 3.5 hours and just read, then it absolutely deserves a full 5 stars.
Lara gripped me as a FMC within seconds, ruthless and cold, she has been brought up with a purpose. But is that “purpose” based on a lie?
Aren is a dreamboat, I’ll not say much as I don’t want to spoil the twists and turns this book takes and the journey the two MCs take together, however it is such a good story with some excellent character development.
