Hidden Mate by Jen L. Grey

3.0

Hidden Mate is the first book within The Wolf Born Trilogy. In this, you will meet Sadie. Now she is very happy to be in college because that means she's finally away from her father. He likes to think that he's the alpha of all supernatural's. It's not really true but whatever helps him sleep at night, right?

Of course, she has some pros and cons while at school. One, her best friend Roxy is with her, and she has to deal with the annoying Alpha Heir, Brock. Ugh. Brock. I hated him. There's also the twist of finding her potential mate. Even though her dad is pushing Brock on her, she winds up falling for a human. Which, yes, is a no-no in her dad's eyes. Humans are weak and would therefore make her weak. Blah blah blah. He's annoying and needs to go away.

There's lots of drama and little action towards the end of the book. It honestly felt a bit rushed and I'm not sure what to say or think right now. I wouldn't necessarily call it a cliffhanger, but she ends up leaving her pack. Then sort of becomes her own Alpha. I definitely have questions and hope that two certain people are safe in the next book.
