Sadie
by Courtney Summers
4.5
"how do you forgive the people who are supposed to protect you? sometimes, i don't know what i miss more; everything i'd lost or everything i never had."
went through the last few chapters just sobbing my heart out. this book was a lot of things. (check TWs, please!) i think the way sadie was written made it hard for me to get out of her headspace, and it is so so very heartbreaking.
p.s. the audiobook is excellent! with a full cast (who are so good) and an actual podcast format. this was an experience
