I enjoyed the first book because it was chaotic and over the top but entertaining. I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much because it was so chaotic. I just found it frustrating and anxiety-inducing and a bit sad. It was always going to be harder to do the same kind of story again with the same characters but I just found this plot too ridiculous and I just wanted Meddy to have a nice day. There was a point about 75% of the way through where I realised I didn't really care about the story anymore which was a shame.
