I very much enjoyed this book, though I skipped lightly over the physics. The two main characters were engaging & the plot kept me gripped through the book.
While the book is ostensibly about time travel I think it’s about what you have the power to change in your life. Despite the promise of time travel it seems that the characters cannot change the past. What they come to realise is that we are all travelling through time and they do have the power to change their future - not as easy as it sounds for those whose lives seem predestined by social circumstances, poverty, skin colour, the experience of being in care, or some intersection of those factors.
