I understand why this book is so popular, but it is just so... underwhelming.

The part of the husbands is SO BORING, Evelyn never feels like the IT girl they repeatedly claim she is, her fame just happens and just ends, is so weird?😭

Celia is insufferable (and clearly biphobic) and has 0 chemistry with Evelyn im sorryyyy and I hate it because I thought I would adore this couple.

Their wedding though??? Cute as fuck. And the last line? Iconic as hell.

Btw the covers are a little annoying to me since I never expected for Evelyn to have some MEGABADONKAS because the Evelyn Hugo in the covers has a very normal chest(? And as a member of the big titty committee i see this as erasure 😔/j

But really just put a big chest girlie in the covers, don't be shy.

Anyways, I just hope that YA authors take a little more risks and don't let their works be consumed by booktok tropes cuz yall have some great ideas here they just need a little more flavor.

Gonna watch the movie anyways.
