This Won't End Well by Camille Pagán

3.0

Summary: Annie vows "no new people" after she loses her job, gets in an argument with her best friend, and her fiancée jets off to Paris to find himself. She needs space to figure out her life without the drama that relationships bring, until her glamorous and mysterious new neighbor shows up.

My take: This was a cute, easy to read story! I picked it up quite randomly at the library and it was a nice change of pace for me.

I found Annie endearing; she was quirky and fun to follow, but also totally awkward at parts that made me giggle. The format of the story made the pace feel pretty quick. There were added text and email conversations that were fun to read to switch things up!

Overall, this was a relatively simple book to read and I'd say it was "good" but not spectacular. Read it poolside for a fun little change of pace, but note that it's pretty vanilla. So if you want a steamy romcom then pass!
