4.5 Ah. I love Cyrus and Evie. I can’t believe I have to wait 3 months for the next book. The writing? Amazing. The story? Amazing. The characters? Amazing.
The dynamic between these two in book 2 is literally beautiful, i love how protective and trusting Cyrus is towards Evie. At the end when he realizes how sad of a life Evie will live growing up with her ‘gift’, my heart melted. My favorite quote from that “People think they want the truth, but the opposite is true. Honesty is mean and rough and ugly, while lying is kinder, softer, and more humane. It’s not honesty we want but consideration and respect”
