Turtles All the Way Down by John Green

5.0

i didn’t really know what to rate this book. on one hand, it took me a long time to get into. i really had to sit down with a cup of coffee and read for a while in order to really be interested. however, when i did sit down for two hours one day to finish, i was once again stunned by john green’s way with words and his metaphors. eventually, i decided to rate the book five stars because there were simply too many things i liked about to rate it less. here’s a list of five things:
1.) i like the cover, the tightening gyre
2.) i love the representation for mental health and illnesses like anxiety and ocd
3.) aza is so different from his other main characters, and her anxiety is shown so well throughout the entire book
4.) i liked that it was a mystery, not a romance
5.) i liked the ending:)
