I read this immediately after the first two of the series. I found it more hard going at the start. I almost gave up. However I am pleased I persevered as the second half moved along much better. A sense of real risk for the Slow Horses and a big set piece fire fight. Jackson Lamb was as charasmatic as ever although River is really not as good as he thinks he is.
