I was very excited for this book, as I enjoy Sailor Moon (one of the comp titles) very much, and was interested in seeing what someone may do with that in book form. I don’t think this book was entirely what I was expecting. There were parts I liked, and parts that were okay. Nothing in this wowed me, but I did have fun reading it. I think someday I’ll pick up the second book, but ultimately this series read a little younger than I thought, which changes how I approach it.
