If I Die in a Combat Zone: Box Me Up and Ship Me Home by Tim O'Brien

4.0

I really enjoyed this book. It has been said that it is one of the best books written about Vietnam, if not the best, and while I found it's good, it's not unbeliveably fantastic.

It's written by a draftee who served in in Vietnam in 1969 as a foot soilder and is a memoir. It starts with some great lines, I was giggling and then covers from the time he recieves his draft notice until the completion of his tour.

The author is meant to have written quite a few fiction books based around the American involvement in Vietnam that I will add to my TBR list.

SBC: Based on a soilder or war
