Quite an exciting read from the get-go. The plot was believable and I found myself immersed in the book. A thrilling, suspenseful story with two fairly damaged characters making each other whole.
I wasn't very taken with Nick and Andrew though. While they are a good match, I wasn't drawn into their romance. The suspense was more interesting than their relationship.
This book touches on racism and the effect it has on people whose lives are irretrievably affected by the ratings-hungry media spotlight. I like that it's not all sunshine and roses. There's no definite resolution to this issue and I appreciate that the author didn't try to sugarcoat it by having the problem go away so easily at the end of the book.
A good read overall.
