I can understand why Susan Elizabeth Philips is a fan of Maggie Osborne because this reminded me so much of SEP’s work. Especially the heroine- she had the same slightly tragic but completely wonderful feel that SEP’s heroines do.
This was incredible, Louise is the actual best, she is headstrong, determined, incredible and everything in between. I haven’t loved a heroine this much since the last SEP I read. And oh man, the proverbs, her little silver spoon, her determination… Oof the spoon. This gave the happiest bubbly feeling I’ve had in a while.
Cannot wait to read more by Osborne, this was amazing.
