British books for the win. Every. Single. Time. EM Forster captured the mindset of independent women so perfectly. It feels unbalanced to even give my opinion of such a beautiful book. This novel stands above the simple opinions of a modern reader. It is timeless because it deals with humanity and what makes us good humans. Forster is a fantastic author and I was simply along for the ride. He was so insightful and it's no surprise that he was nominated for a Nobel Prize in Literature many, many times. It is to my shame that I have only now taken the time to enjoy one of his classics. His books will be on my reading list and book shelves from now on.
