I MARATHONED this book. It’s so delightful in a myriad of ways. 

First of all it’s a fantasy adaptation of You’ve Got Mail - so already I’m completely in love with it. Hart & Mercy are such interesting characters and we really get to see so much growth from them. The surrounding cast of characters are all interesting too!

And then the fantasy world??? Tanria is such an interesting place. The magic system (and the funerary rights) is unique. Spoiler-ish for a book that came out three years ago but I love how the appendix is actually useful here ☺️

I listened as an audiobook and was actively holding myself back from crying in a Trader Joe’s. I cannot WAIT to read the next book in this series.
