Sleeping In The Fire: A Collection of 9 Horrifying Tales
by John Durgin
Digital copy provided in exchange for an honest review.
The more horror novels I read, the more proficient I become in determining, even from early on, if the story is going to be worth my time to read. Every one of the nine stories in this collection hooked me from the very beginning. I would have to say that the second story was my favorite, but not the only one that had me looking over my shoulder as I read. Still, if that second story was made into a book, I would be first in line at the bookstore the day it came out.
These chilling nine stories are definitely worth checking out, especially for those horror enthusiasts such as myself.
