Oz
by Lily Morton
4⭐️ Lily’s story telling and scenery descriptions are always beautiful and engaging. She truly makes you feel like you’re a part of the story.
Oz and Silas’s story was wholesome, low-angst, and sweet. A bit on the slow side, but a relaxing read with a some humor throughout. I loved Oz’s style and his unapologetic and sassy demeanor. I loved how loyal and down-to-earth Silas was despite being raised in a posh environment. I don’t feel like I got quite enough of Silas’s perspective. I would have liked more chapters with insight into his feelings.
As a side note, I loved the brotherly love in this book. It warmed my heart to see two adult brothers hugging and saying “I love you” frequently and without embarrassment. I feel like we don’t get enough of that in American culture.
