I enjoyed this book because I'm very attached to these characters. As with the first several times I read it, Brisingr is definitely slower-paced than the other books and felt a bit disjointed. It almost felt like a collection of short stories. While this book isn't my favorite of the series, it still included very important information and character development that will be imperative for the final battle between Eragon and Galbatorix.
