This sequel to Inkheart wasn't as good as Inkheart itself, but it was still pretty good. The plot picked up tempo and got far more involved with the whole idea of the story world. A lot more characters were introduced, and we saw Meggie and Mo change as they faced new challenges.
The downside of this book: parts of it dragged, especially as this book is aimed at a younger audience. And so many characters were introduced, and so many side stories were created it could get confusing and at times, a bit boring.
So I still loved it, just not as much as Inkheart.
