A Darkness Absolute by Kelley Armstrong
3.0
Pretty good murder mystery, set in the "hidden" town of Rockton in the wilds of Canada. I like how Armstrong has set up the town as an escape for people of dubious backgrounds, which allows for a greater than normal proportion of violent acts, explaining why they need a detective like Casey for such a small town.
Lots of twists and turns, and I was kept guessing about the guilty party until near the end. Slow moving in parts, but entertaining enough to keep me occupied while I was home with a cold.
